 player biting award medal The Eagles got redemption as they were able to have a great win vs Roswell 76-68 for the 4-5A District Championship on Monday night. Next up is the District Tournament game on Saturday which solidifies the seeding for state playoffs.
 two female wrestlers After a tough two days, our Eagles and Lady Eagleswrestlers came home with 5 total STATE awards from their time at the state championships. We are proud of our wrestling team that battling through two days of competition and pushing into the medal rounds!
 diver with coaches The HHS Swim and Dive team had a great showing at the state championships, with Alfredo Hernandez winning gold and being named NMAA diving co-champion, marking the third straight year that a Hobbs diver has won the state championship!
 seniors with parents photo It was a great game Friday night against Carlsbad with an impressive win 64-28. It was also a poignant night for the Lady Eagles as it was Senior Night, and their last game of the regular season for this group of seniors that have played together since they were kids.
 basketball seniors with coach It was senior recognition night for the Hobbs Eagles, and while SENM District rival Clovis came to play, the Eagles drove ahead with epic breakaways and a tenacious 4th quarter defense that converted turnovers to points to win 75-49 
 girl going for lay up with defender With a running clock, the Hobbs Lady Eagles dominated the game vs Roswell to be 3-0 in district play with an impressive 66-32 win Tuesday night at Tasker Arena.
 girl swimmer smiling  The District 3-4 Swimming and Diving Championship was held Saturday at the CORE. There were 11 teams in the district: Artesia, Alamogordo, Carlsbad, Centennial, Clovis, Hobbs, Gateway, Las Cruces, Lovington, Mayfield NMMI.
 two players going after the ball What a battle! The Hobbs Eagles fought hard in a nail-biting district matchup against Carlsbad, holding them off for a 49-46 victory!
girls dancing on stage  NDI came to Hobbs as part of their school dance residencies where Edison, Jefferson, Southern Heights and Will Rogers students got to show off their dance moves to ther classmates and parents at Tyding Auditorium.
