Hobbs High School Theatre students will perform Sleepy Hollow at 6 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Tuesday in the HHS Little Theatre in the 200 wing. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Part of Monday's districtwide teacher training included HHS Principal Zeke Kaney's explanation of a new way for all students and parents to report threats or possible violent behavior. Students and parents can use a bar code, telephone number or email to report threats - anonymously or by leaving a name. Click on the link for details. Jazlynn Shanklin and the rest of the Lady Eagles volleyball players were down two games to Carlsbad on Tuesday night. But they managed to come back for the 3-2 win and an undefeated record in district. Click on the picture for photo highlights.
Broadmoor Elementary School was named a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School award winner on Monday. It was the only public school in New Mexico to earn the honor this year and is the first National Blue Ribbon school in Hobbs history. U
