Paula Smith and Barry Young - parents of Hobbs students - were two of the community members who spoke at Tuesday night's School Board meeting about the possible opening of a Student-Based Health Clinic. Click on the photo to listen. Murray third grader Jamarion Thomas got a surprise on Tuesday when Hobbs Eagles Alec Finney and Gavin Hardison showed up to eat lunch with him. The pair are involved with the "Eagle Buddy" program which pairs youngsters with high school mentors.

College Lane 3rd-5th graders are reading books and making presentations to younger students today as part of a Literacy Campaign. In addition to costumes, students also made posters to illustrate their selections as they visit younger students.
Brenden Strickland made this catch for a touchdown and returned a kickoff for another in Friday night's 59-27 win over Lovington. Click on the photo for highlights.
